Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, DetMap Asia-Pacific Sdn. Bhd. is a Finnish-Malaysian Joint Venture company which main objective is to serve clients in this region by providing accurate information on underground utility location. Although company is founded recently (1998), its roots are in 1970's Finland, where the idea of an underground utility data centre was born. Founders of DetMap have been in underground utility business more than 25 years.

DetMap Asia-Pacific Sdn. Bhd. is determined to educate authorities and general public of importance of protecting underground utility services, as they are the lifelines of the nation and great asset of prosperity. We will bring new dimensions to the underground utility detection and mapping work by improving the accuracy of location information of utility services and also making this information more user-friendly and cost-effective by improving products submitted to the clients. Our highest priorities are the safety of the public, avoidance of underground utility damages and high quality services.
